CCPS's Introduction to Process Safety for Undergraduates and Engineers (Center for Chemical Process Safety). This book is meant to be used as either a stand-alone process safety course or as supplemental content for current curricula. This is not a technical book; rather, the material is intended to familiarize a student or engineer new to process safety with Process safety management is a concept (PSM), The Center for Chemical Process Safety's 20 process safety elements (CCPS), The importance of process safety as demonstrated by examples of important process safety accidents, process safety tasks for other engineering disciplines, and process safety concerns with some selected unit operations.

The CCPS Technical Steering Committee launched the construction of this book to assist colleges and universities in overcoming this challenge, as well as to assist Chemical Engineering departments in achieving current accreditation criteria for incorporating process safety into their curricula.
