Welding Technology and Inspection Procedures
This guidebook is short and extremely useful for students, welders, technicians, welding inspectors, and engineers to investigate a subject in a timely manner to carry out a work without losing too much of his valuable time. It only covers the following AWS D1.1 and ASME Section IX manufacturing welding processes, materials, and inspection procedures that are commonly used for field construction projects: SMAW (shielded metal arc), GMAW (gas metal arc), GTAW (gas tungsten arc), FCAW (flux-cored arc), SAW (submerged arc), CAW (carbon arc), PAW (plasma arc), and EGW (electrogas welding). In selecting welding processes, materials, and inspection procedures for ordinary building applications, metallurgy is not the scope and is limited.
